Webinars

In addition to our numerous lessons including dialogues and conversation topics we also offer monthly audio-video conferences aka webinars where we share lessons, news, and a chance for English learners to practice American English conversation skills. We now have the recordings of prior webinars on our YouTube Live Sessions/Webinar Playlist which you’re encouraged to visit.

Here is a video from our April 2021 webinar in which we shared news and information about one of our online courses, as well as an opportunity for our participants to answer questions and practice conversation skills:

We will share upcoming audio-video conferences / webinars here, so come back soon. Thank you!

What are Webinars?

— A webinar is an online meeting during which participants are able to get the information they need through the internet. The webinars are usually done with many people in different locations, all simultaneously during a single session. They are conducted via the internet, and are often led by two or more people who share the responsibility of presenting the information to the attendees in real time over camera and microphone. Webinars can be pre-recorded or live.

— A webinar is an online presentation that takes place over the internet. The presenter interacts with the audience through voice, video, chat rooms, and virtual whiteboards. Webinars are often used to provide continuing education for professionals in various fields.

These seminars are typically conducted over the Internet and provide the opportunity for participants to communicate with both remote speakers and other participants simultaneously. Webinars allow people who would otherwise not be able to attend seminars in person to take part in them.
