Topic: Favorite Hobbies

Dialogue 1

Sophie: Hey, Tom. What do you like to do in your free time?
Tom: I love playing video games. It’s so relaxing and fun.
Sophie: Really? I find it quite frustrating sometimes.
Tom: It can be challenging when you’re stuck on a level for ages. But the feeling of finally passing it is fantastic.
Sophie: Fair enough! What else do you enjoy doing?
Tom: Well, I also like going hiking. Exploring new trails and taking beautiful scenic shots with my camera is exciting.
Sophie: That sounds nice. I’ve never tried that before.
Tom: You should come with me sometime. It’s a great way to relax and stay fit at the same time.
Sophie: Yeah, maybe we could make plans for next weekend.
Tom: Absolutely! And what about you? What are your favorite hobbies?
Sophie: I love dancing and painting. They’re both entertaining and creative. Dancing is exciting because it allows me to express myself through movement, and image helps me relax after a busy day.
Tom: Oh, that’s cool. Maybe you can teach me how to dance one day, and I’ll introduce you to some new hiking routes!
Sophie: Sounds like a plan.

Dialogue 2

Sophie: Hi, Alex. What do you like to do in your free time?
Alex: I love playing guitar and listening to music. It’s so relaxing.
Sophie: That sounds great. Do you ever perform in front of people?
Alex: Sometimes, I play with my band at open mic nights or gigs. It can be fascinating.
Sophie: Wow! You’re so talented. And what about other hobbies?
Alex: I also enjoy playing football. It’s a fun way to exercise and spend time with friends.
Sophie: Do you have any favorite teams?
Alex: Yeah, I support Manchester United. How about you? What are your favorite hobbies?
Sophie: I love reading and going for walks in the park. They’re both very relaxing for me.
Alex: Those sound nice. Do you have any exciting hobbies too?
Sophie: Well, I’ve gone bungee jumping before. It was scary but exciting!
Alex: Bungee jumping?! I’m not sure I could do that!
Sophie: Haha, it’s not for everyone. But it’s good to try new things sometimes.
Alex: Definitely. It’s essential to make the most out of our free time.
